Most importantly we would like to assure you that our team is here for you. With the current spread of the COVID-19, it is essential to seek the right care in the right place. We can all impact the course of this illness dramatically by practicing social distancing and by staying home whenever possible.
If you have traveled within the past two to three weeks, or have a fever, cough, or shortness or breath, we ask that you not present to the office. We recommend you stay home, practice social distancing and allow us to schedule a telemedicine visit with your physician regarding your skin condition.
We are not closed; we are transitioning to practicing Dermatology differently during this global pandemic because your health, the health of your family, and the health of our Mt. Pleasant Dermatology team are our top priority.
We will be implementing new operating policies and procedures. With guidance from the Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and the American Academy of Dermatology (AAD), we are working to convert as many appointments as possible to telemedicine visits until at least April 3rd, 2020. Medicare and other insurance companies are covering telemedicine visits throughout the time of this pandemic.
Telemedicine visits will be scheduled Monday through Thursday 8:30 AM – 12:00 PM. Please call our office to schedule a telemedicine visit.
We understand it is our duty to be available when you need us, especially throughout situations like this. We are here for you and will continue to remain available throughout this challenging time. We will get through this together. We are here for you so that you can stay home.
